Mount Vernon wins contest over Goreville Blackcats 53-42! Offensively the Lady Cats were led by Stella Hall with 27 points. Gloria Guerrero added 9 of her own, as well as 8 from Taylor Ellison. At the conclusion of today's game Stella Hall was recognized with all-tournament honors for her performance this week! Mount Vernon finishes the Lady Foxes Invitational with a record of 2-2 in a tie for second place. On the season, Mt. Vernon improves to 3-5. The Wildcats resume conference play, hosting the Pike Central Chargers next Saturday.
