The Mt. Vernon Boys Golf Team defeated rival North Posey on Thursday night 166-177. North was the overall winner of the triangular match with a 163, which was only 3 strokes better than the Wildcats. Senior Brennan Austin was the Wildcat medalist in his final WHCC match with a 39. Sophomore Jake Carlisle came in with a 42, while Freshman Chase Byerly followed with a 42 of his own. Preston Russell and Nathan Craig rounded out the scoring with 43. Senior Reese Harshbarger carded a 44. We wish our Seniors the best of luck tomorrow night at graduation and thank them for their years of play at Mt. Vernon.
