Mount Vernon High School

Mt. Vernon senior Hadley Weatherford competed at the Tri-State Orthopaedics Varsity Shootout on Monday evening at Victoria National where the Korn Ferry Tour Championship will be held this week. Her team consisted of two other high school players and Korn Ferry Tour professional Ricky Castillo. There were 15 total high school players and 5 professionals. The teams played an alternate-shot 7 hole shootout. Hadley's group, led by Castillo, ended 3-under par, with Weatherford sinking a clutch birdie putt on the first hole. Afterwards, flags signed by all 5 professionals were presented to each student athlete. Thank you to Tri-State Orthopaedics and the Korn Ferry Tour for supporting Indiana high school golf! The Tour Championship is Thursday-Sunday and is open to spectators.
