The Wildcats traveled to Prides Creek today for the Pike Central Invite. With the fall weather finally here the teams took full advantage of the opportunity and filled the day with season bests and personal best. Makayla Schneider led the girls time today with a season best performance finishing 32nd. Maddie Abel was next at 44th almost matching last weeks season best outing. Addie Blackburn was finished right behind Abel finishing 45th with a new personal record of almost 40 seconds. Rachael Shockley rounded out the girls team finishing 55th. The boys team took a big step forward despite being short handed today. Avery Capes led the way today setting a new personal record of 18:23. That is an improvement of a minute and seven seconds over his previous PR. Todays performance earned Avery a medal finishing 15th overall. Marcus Riecken had a solid showing finishing 16th overall. Jake Gross knocked 50 seconds off his personal record to finish 25th followed by Logan Greenwell who took 47 seconds off his own PR to finish 28th. William Lemberg had a season best showing to finish 63rd and Ty Lange rounded out the pack with a PR of 46 seconds finishing 76th. The teams will take this week to prepare for the Nike XC Town Twlight.
