Mount Vernon High School

The Mt. Vernon Wildcats beat the #8 ranked Southridge Raiders on the road Friday evening 49-42. It was a great defensive effort throughout the game by everyone on the floor. Jackson Clowers led the Wildcats with 18 points, Nicot Burnett had 14 points and Brady Schickel had 8 points. Mt. Vernon went 12-18 from the FT line in the 4th quarter to secure the win and improve to 5-6 on the year. Mt. Vernon will compete in the CWC Tournament next week.
