Boys Fall in tough game at Carmi

The boys basketball team came up just short at Carmi tonight 58-53. Defensively, the Wildcats held Carmi to 10 made field goals on the evening. Carmi was 34-41 from the free throw line, including 18-22 in the 4th quarter. The Wildcats were led by Nicot Burnett with 20 points and Nash Hostetter with 13 points. The Cats are now 8-7 on the season. Mt. Vernon will be back in action on Friday evening at Tell City with the JV starting at 6pm and the Varsity to follow. They will be back at home Saturday evening for Homecoming when they host the Pike Central Chargers.
