The Mt. Vernon boys basketball team won a road conference game at Boonville Friday night to improve to 11-9, 52-45. The Wildcats were led in scoring by Senior Nicot Burnett with 19 points. Meyer Robb was also in double figures with 10 points and Jackson Clowers chipped in 9. Mt. Vernon stretched its lead out to 12 in the 4th quarter and went 11-12 from the Free Throw Line in the 4th. The Cats are back at home Tuesday evening when they host Mater Dei with the JV tipping off at 5:30pm and the Varsity to follow at 7pm.
