Mount Vernon High School

Mt. Vernon boys basketball senior, Nicot Burnett was named to the Hoosier Basketball Coaches Association's All District 2 Team that was released on Wednesday. Nicot is currently averaging 16.2 ppg, 4.6rpg, and 1.8apg. He is also the school's 2nd All Time Leading Scorer with over 1300 points currently. Congrats to Nicot on this honor! Burnett and the Wildcats will be back in action on Friday evening in the Sectional Semi-finals at Boonville. Mt. Vernon will tip off around 7pm against the Bosse Bulldogs. Come out and support the Cats at Boonville!
