Mount Vernon High School

The boys basketball team fell to Bosse on Friday evening in the Sectional semi-finals 62-50. Tied at 43 going into the 4th quarter, the Bulldogs went 6-8 from the FT line in the 4th and secured the win. The Wildcats wrap up their season with a 14-12 record. Nicot Burnett finished with a team high 15 points and Senior Jackson Clowers had 13 points. Meyer Robb had 8 points, Brady Schickel 7 points and Nash Hostetter finished with 5. This was the final game for 5 of our Senior players: Nicot Burnett, Jackson Clowers, Logan Dutkiewicz, Jacob Swartz, and Aaron Weis. These 5 players have given a great deal to the basketball program, have been great kids, and will be greatly missed moving forward. We thank them for everything they have given to Mt.
