The Mount Vernon boys track team competed in our first home meet of the season last night. In a great meet with 5 other teams the boys team finished 1st overall! Multiple boys set new personal bests on the year and really stepped up in a larger meet! Top 3 finishers were: 100m Dash: Grant Lippe 1st, Hunter Pedrotti 2nd 110m Hurdles: Jacob Swartz 1st, Braxton Whitfield 2nd 200m Dash: Grant Lippe 1st, Ryder Snodgrass 2nd 400m Dash: Abdu Hardin 2nd 800m Run: Abdu Hardin 1st 4x100m Relay: 1st overall with a team of Ryder Snodgrass, Hunter Pedrotti, Jacob Swartz, and Grant Lippe 4x400m Relay: 1st overall with a team of Ryder Snodgrass, Braxton Whitfield, Jacob Swartz, and Abdu Hardin 300m Hurdles: Jacob Swartz 1st, Braxton Whitfield 3rd Shot Put: Beau Baldwin 1st, Drew Aaron 3rd Discus: Beau Baldwin 1st Great effort by our whole team!
