Mt Vernon Softball trailed Forest Park 2-1 heading into the 5th inning during Saturdays PAC game. Senior catcher Hannah West tied the game at 2 with her team leading 6th HR of the season. With the game tied at 2 in the 7th, Alaina Allyn led off the inning with a double. Hannah West was intentionally walked, which brought up Senior Cora Bell. Bell laced a line drive base hit off the 2nd Basemen's glove which allowed Allyn to score the game winning run. The Cats offense was paced by Bell's 2 hits and 2 Rbis, Allyn, and Raycee Stallings had 2 hits a piece. Lacey Allyn added a single to go along with West's HR. Alaina Allyn picked up the win in the circle, while striking out 12. The Cats improve to 7-2, 4-0 PAC.
