Mount Vernon High School

The Mt Vernon Softball team collected a 6-2 win over Vincennes Lincoln on Senior Night. Alaina Allyn got the win in the circle and struck out 7. The Cats were led offensively with Cora Bell having 2 hits and 2 RBIs, Raycee Stallings had and RBI Double, and Hannah West hit her school record setting 9th HR of the season. Before the game the Cats honored their 6 Seniors: Taylor Mason, Raycee Stallings, Hannah West, Cora Bell, Abbi Miller, and Lily Sizemore. Mt Vernon improves to 12-10 and will be back in action on Saturday hosting Tell City at 10 am.
