The Mt. Vernon Girls Golf team placed 7th in the Washington Invitational at Country Oaks Saturday. The team improved all around with a collective score of 414. Libby Reese was the low round for the Cats with a solid 89. Emily Jones was the next best for the team with 95, a personal best. Senior Shelby Lang improved at 110, and senior Jaley Hamilton improved also with a 4th score with 120.
