On Saturday Mt Vernon traveled to Mt Carmel and got after the Aces from the start leading 20-2 after the first, and going on to win 67-25. The Cats did a good job of pressuring the basketball and creating turnovers throughout the game. Nine different Wildcats scored led by Junior Meyer Robb with 20 points. Nash Hostetter had 16 points and Bryce Clowers had 10. Jack Campbell and Ryder Snodgrass were both good off the bench with 6 and 5 points respectively. Mt Vernon will be back in action tipping off a busy week on Tuesday night at home when they host Heritage Hills. Friday night the Cats will host Wood Memorial and Saturday will host Gibson Southern.
