Mount Vernon High School

Former Lady Wildcat Johanna (Henderson) Wallisa is the recipient of the 2025 National Honor Society's Outstanding Alumni honor. Dr. Wallisa attended Marrs Elementary, Mt. Vernon Junior High and graduated from MVHS in 1996. She has her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Indiana University, and a Doctorate of Medicine from the IU School of Medicine. She has been invited to speak at the commencement ceremony on Friday, May 23, 2025. Congratulations, JoJo!
