Cats Clash with Titans The Mt. Vernon Boys Golf Team battled the ranked Gibson Southern Titans but came up short 152-166. Peyton Blackard (Notre Dame signee) was the medalist with a 34. Brennan Austin had a great round with a 37 to lead medalist honors for Mt. Vernon. Preston Russell had a solid round of 40 with two birdies. Nathan Craig came in with a 43 and Mason Higginson a 46. Max Hamrick carded a 47 in his last match at Western Hills. We thank Max for his years with our golf program and wish him the best the rest of the season.
