The Mount Vernon Lady Cat golfers placed 6th out of 16 teams at the Washington invitational at Country Oaks with a score of 381. The Wildcats were led by Junior Libby Reese with a career-best 5 over par 77. That round was just 3 strokes off the medalist Abby Shires from Memorial who had 74. Following her score was senior Emily Jones with a high school career best 90. Sophomore Elise Williams was the third MV score with 105, another career best, and freshman Addison Pickett carded a personal best 109. Attalia Wolf came in with 110. The team worked hard all week and dropped 29 strokes from their previous invitational. Way to go Cats!! Mt.
