The Wildcats XC teams traveled to Angel Mounds today for the Dennis Bays Invitational. Everyone took full advantage of the weather and favorable track posting season best times. Marcus Reicken lead the team finishing 51st with a time of 18:46. A season best that's just 6 seconds off an all time PR. William Lemberg shaved almost a minute and a half off last week's performance with a new personal best 20:46 finishing 114th. Thomas Scates (145) rounded out the boys team improving by one minute and sixteen seconds from last week. The girls team also saw big jumps as Madison Cooper PR'd by 39 seconds posting a time of 23:03 finishing 36th. Makayla Schneider improved over one minute from last race finishing 88th and Maddie Abel knocked 36 seconds off to finish 115. The teams will try to build off that momentum as they travel to Gibson Southern next Thursday.
