Mount Vernon High School

The Mount Vernon Lady Wildcat golf team placed 5th of 16 teams at the Vincennes Invitational at Cypress Hills with a team score of 375. The team bounced back from a rough week of scores as every player improved. Junior Libby Reese was the 4th best score of the tournament, earning an All-Tournament Team plaque with a solid 83. Freshman Addison Pickett, playing in the 5 spot, carded a personal best 95 and came in with the second low round for the Wildcats. Senior Emily Jones also broke 100 with a solid 96. Junior Attalia Wolf was the fourth score with 101, while Senior Aubrey May finished her first 18 hole tourney of the season with 103. Great job today, ladies! Next weekend the team will compete at the PAC Conference at Country Oaks. Mt.
