The Wildcat swimmers and divers were back in action at Castle last night. Both teams split with wins over Boonville and losses to Castle. There were some outstanding races and bests last night as the Wildcats took on a talented Castle team. Our swimmers overcame a tough week of adversity as we relocated pools for installation of a new bulkhead. I'm proud of their resilience. Congratulations to Peyton McDaniel for her 200 freestyle win over the defending Sectional champion and State medalist from Castle. Her time ranks as the #2 swim on Mount Vernon's all-time list.
