Mount Vernon dropped to 4-2 on the season with a loss at Boonville. Nicot Burnett was 11-17 for 219 yards passing and 1 TD. Nash Hostetter had 2 receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown. Kortez Stewart had the other TD for the 'Cats on a 1st quarter 1 yard score. Jackson Clowers had 4 receptions for 107 yards on the night. Grant Doherty connected on a 34 yard field goal in the 2nd quarter as well. Mount Vernon will be back at home next week to play Heritage Hills with a 7 pm kick off on 9/29. This will be the "All-In Friday Community Partner Night" for the Mt. Vernon Community.
