The Mount Vernon Wildcat swimmers & divers end a long and exciting season today with 16 personal best times at the Sectional Finals, adding two swims to the fastest 16 in Mount Vernon's history books. Jaxston Raben and John Thomason crack the Top 16 fastest swims in the 100 breaststroke in the 30 plus year history of Wildcat Swimming. That is quite a feat considering the deep tradition of excellence in the pool. This team only graduates 2 seniors and looks to improve upon their PAC Runner Up placing next season. Eli McFadin was the fastest freshman sprinter at Sectionals; newcomer Clayton Green made the top 16 in his first season debut; Ryan McCollum had massive time drops and ended the season in the Top 10 of Sectionals; Freshman Johnny Bohleber placed in both his individual events in his first season.... there is MUCH to look forward to out of this group of dedicated swimmers.
