Varsity vs Gibson Southern (26 - 62) Loss Mount Vernon dropped to 4-4 on the season with a loss to Gibson Southern. MV jumped out to a 14-0 lead and trailed 24-20 at half, before wearing down in the 2nd half. Ryder Snodgrass was 11-24 passing for 238 yards and 2 TD's. Nash Hostetter had 5 receptions for 125 yards, including a 82 yard TD. Brady Schickel had 5 receptions for 100 yards and a 77 yard TD. Eastin Hall had 42 yards rushing and put the Cats on the board first with a rushing TD. Hunter Pedrotti had a 53 yard interception return for a TD. On defense, MV was led by Shane Krieger who had 12 tackles. Brady Schickel had 7 tackles, 1 sack and 1 caused fumble. Hunter Pedrotti had 9 tackles, a caused fumble, and INT for a score. The Cats will be back in action at home for Senior Night against Princeton.
