Varsity vs Princeton Community High School (42 - 13) Win Mount Vernon finished the regular season with a win to improve to 5-4. The Cats jumped out to a 35-0 halftime lead. Ryder Snodgrass was 19-21 for 316 yards and 5 TD's. Nash Hostetter continued his torrid season with 4 receptions for 98 yards and 3 TD's. Hunter Pedrotti had 5 receptions for 117 yards and 2 TD's. Logan Clowers had 56 yards receiving and Brady Schickel added 44 yards on 5 receptions. On the ground, MV was led by Eastin Hall with 101 yards rushing on 16 attempts. Shane Krieger had 71 yards rushing on 9 attempts and 1 TD. Mount Vernon totaled 528 yards. Defensively, Shane Krieger paved the way with 10 tackles, Davey Jones added 8 stops, and Brady Schickel had 5 tackles, including a sack. Hunter Pedrotti had 5 tackles, 2 caused fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, and 2 passes broken up. Mount Vernon will begin sectional play next week at Southridge with a start time of 6:30
