Congratulations to Peyton McDaniel, who has been honored as the Country Financial Athlete of the Week! She earned this honor by way of breaking a 15 year old swimming record in just her second meet. The 100 butterfly record was previously held by by Michea Reinitz (2009) and currently stands at 55.99, which is a little over a half of a second faster. Country Financial, a proud supporter of local athletics, will recognize one outstanding student athlete per week by awarding them with a gift certificate to a local restaurant.
