Mount Vernon High School

The Mount Vernon Wildcats took on the Forest Park Rangers last night in the first game of the year. We played well on both sides of the ball, and secured a 44-0 home opener to kickoff the season! Some highlights from the game were: Shane Krieger 4 carries for 97 yards and 2 touchdowns, as well as 4 solo and 2 assisted tackles on defense. Nash Hostetter 3 catches for 160 yards and 3 touchdowns, as well as an INT on defense. Ryder Snodgrass 8/14 passing for 213 yards and 3 touchdowns. Saint Henderson 4 solo and 5 assisted tackles on defense. Brady Schickel 2 sacks on defense. The Wildcats will take on the Boonville Pioneers next Friday night!
