Mount Vernon High School

The Mount Vernon Wildcat football team took on our county rival North Posey for Senior Night last night. The Wildcats were victorious in a big 54-37 win over the Vikings! Great effort by multiple players throughout the game! Some highlights from the game were: Shane Krieger 39 carries for 251 yards and 5 touchdowns. He also had 7 tackles on defense. Nash Hostetter 5 catches for 116 yards and 2 touchdowns. Ryder Snodgrass 14/16 for 290 yards passing and 3 touchdowns. He also had an interception on defense. Brady Schickel 4 catches for 68 yards and a touchdown. Logan Clowers 3 catches for 85 yards. Saint Henderson 5 tackles on defense. Luke Weintraut with an interception on defense and 2 catches on offense for 21 yards. The Wildcats will be back in action next Friday at Southridge for the 1st round of sectionals!
