MT. VERNON ATHLETICS Summer Strength Training Starts on Wednesday, 5/28* "LevelUp: Do Better. Get Better. Be Better." We are incredibly proud of the growth and progress our student-athletes have made this past year through our speed, agility, and strength training program. Their dedication laid the foundation for something special—and now it's time to build on that success. Last summer, we launched our Summer Strength Starts Here initiative with a clear purpose: to give Wildcats a competitive edge through intentional, structured training. That purpose remains. In fact, it’s even more important as we enter Year 2 of this journey. This summer, we continue to LevelUp by focusing on: Speed and reaction time Explosiveness and power Movement efficiency Full-body strength development These training sessions are not just an opportunity—they are an expectation for our student-athletes. If we want to Do Better, Get Better, and Be Better, then we must stay committed to consistent, meaningful work in the weight room and beyond. 📅 Summer Schedule (Coed Workouts): Session #1 – 7:00 - 8:30 AM (M-W-F) Led by Coach Dustin Boyer & Coach Forzley Session #2 – Mondays & Wednesdays at 5:00 - 6:30 PM; Fridays at 8 - 9:30 AM Led by Coach Riley Snodgrass, Coach Rhett Snodgrass & Coach Justin Fischer 👉 Full schedule available on EventLink Check the Agility/Weights – Boys and Girls calendars.
